PegLeg Adventures
Mission

Many of our country’s soldiers are returning from combat in Iraq and Afghanistan with life changing injuries and amputations. PegLeg Adventures is dedicated to reintroducing adventure into the lives of these American Heros wounded in the line of duty.

PegLeg works closely with the Community Reintegration Program at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, both with their active program participants, and those who have completed the program, allowing them to perfect their skills.

PegLeg participants benefit greatly from tackling the physical challenges involved with the water sports offered, as well as from their connection with other amputee participants promoting self-confidence, increasing
self-esteem, and developing the mind, body
and spirit.
